Bathroom bandit

Cops cuffed a man after he allegedly stole more than $470 worth of bathroom furniture from a store on Beard Street on Sept. 14.

An employee told police that the man allegedly tried to exit the store by Otsego Street at about 6 p.m. carrying sheets, shower curtains, bath mats, and more than $200 worth of bath towels without paying. Employees called police, who charged the defendant with petty larceny, according to officials.

Angry customer

Police busted a man for allegedly punching a hotel employee in the face on Seabring Street on Sept. 15.

The victim told cops that the defendant, who lives at the hotel, punched him while he was serving food in the hotel’s cafeteria between Richard and Columbia streets at around 6 p.m.

Dell-inquent

A looter stole a man’s Dell laptop from his house on Henry Street on Sept. 11.

The 75-year-old victim told cops that the bandit snagged his $700 laptop from his bedroom between Congress and Warren streets sometime between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Package pilferer

A thief swiped a package containing an air freshener from Huntington Street on Sept. 13.

The victim said that the scoundrel stole the $14 air freshener from her doorstep between Clinton and Court streets at around 1 p.m.
