Struck Noodles
A man who goes by the nickname Noodles allegedly hit a man with a pole during a game of basketball on the corner of Henry and Lorraine streets on April 13.
Noodles, 18, got into a fight with the 22-year-old victim around 4 pm and banged him on the left arm with the metal weapon, fracturing his elbow, cops said.
The slippery suspect has yet to be collared, officers stated.
Air-not-so-soft
A man was arrested for allegedly shooting another man in the thigh with a “pellet-type gun” outside an apartment on Tiffany Place on April 11.
The 31-year-old victim was smoking a cigar in front of the apartment complex between Kane and Degraw streets around 3 pm when his 29-year-old pal popped him in the thigh with the pain-making toy, according to police.
The suspect was arrested and charged with intent to cause serious injury and criminal possession of a weapon.
Bode-gotcha
Cops cuffed a woman who they say stole a bundle of products from a convenience store on Smith Street on April 11.
The 54-year-old suspect stormed the store between President and Union streets sometime between 6:45 and 7:25 pm and got away with more than $300 worth of stuff, according to a report.
Predatory pair
Two brutes punched a woman and stole her iPhone and wallet on Hoyt Street on April 13, police stated.
The 18-year-old victim was walking down the stairs in the Gowanus Houses apartment complex between Baltic and Douglass streets when a lout wearing black jogging clothes came up to her and said, “Don’t move and I won’t hurt you,” according to cops.
The lout walloped her in the face and another galoot, who was wearing a leather jacket and blue jeans, joined in, according to the authorities. The dastardly duo stole her iPhone, wallet, brown bag, brown pouch, makeup, Bank of America card, and California identification card, cops said.
Kibbles and risk
A band of thieves lifted dog gear from a pet store on Court Street on April 14, a report says.
The presumed pooch lovers pinched three dog collars and one dog harness from the shop between West Ninth and Garnet streets sometime between 4 and 4:30 pm, according to officers.
Dare to tread
A group of vandals slashed all four tires of a woman’s car on Wolcott Street sometime between April 9 and 10, law enforcement officials said.
The 36-year-old victim parked her white sedan between Van Brunt and Richards streets on April 9 around 4 pm, and when she returned on April 10 at 10 am, she saw the damage done, cops said.
