A thief stole a man’s cellphone from inside Brooklyn Public Library’s central branch on Grand Army Plaza on Aug. 22.

The victim told police that he was inside the book lender near Eastern Parkway at around 1:30 p.m., when the crook stole his $150 phone.

Park Slope punk

A bruiser assaulted a man on 11th Street on Aug. 27.

The victim told police that he was walking between Second and Third avenues at around 1 p.m. when the ruffian sucker punched him and kicked him multiple times.

First responders took the victim to Methodist Hospital for treatment, according to police reports.

Hit-and-run

Some lowlife left the scene of a car accident on Third Avenue on Aug. 21.

The victim told police that the driver smashed into the rear end of his car near Seventh Street at 5:40 p.m., before fleeing.

Puttering perp

A thief stole a moped from Bergen Street on Aug. 28.

The victim told police that he left the two-wheeled motor transport between Carlton and Sixth avenues at around 9 p.m., and discovered it missing when he returned the next morning at around 7 a.m.

Overdose

Police responded to the scene of a drug overdose inside a President Street apartment building on Sept. 2.

A caller reported to police that a man was unconscious inside the apartment between Fifth and Sixth avenues at around 10 a.m. When police arrived on the premises, they found the overdosed man surrounded by drug paraphernalia.

First reporters took the man to Methodist Hospital for treatment, according to police reports.
