The brother of a Brooklyn man convicted of murdering an eight-year-old boy was found bound in duct tape and dead in a basement closet at his family home late last week.

Tzvi Aron, 29, was found by another brother, Yerachmiel Aron, shortly before 3 pm on Friday inside the Kensington home on E. Second Street between Avenue C and Courtelyou Road.

The cause of Aron’s death is unknown, according to a police spokesman, who said the the medical examiner’s autopsy will determine how the investigation continues.

The medical examiner is still studying Aron’s cause of death, said a spokeswoman who declined to say when the findings would be made public.

Tzvi Aron’s brother Levi Aron kidnapped Leiby Kletzky on his way home from Yeshiva school in Borough Park in July 2011. An enormous manhunt followed, with more than 5,000 Orthodox Jewish volunteers from across the Tri-State area joining the search. Levi confessed to killing Kletzky after police uncovered security footage that showed the boy entering the man’s car, and was sentenced to 40 years to life in prison after pleading guilty to second-degree kidnapping and murder charges at his 2012 trial.
