The bullseye is centering on Gravesend!
A new Target outpost will open next year at the neighborhood’s Caesar’s Bay Shopping Center, according to a spokeswoman for the retailer.
The store will fill more than one-and-a-half football fields’ worth of space across two stories of the Bay Parkway mall, a massive storefront combining the former Caesar’s Bay locations of kid-centric retailers Toys ‘R’ Us and Babies ‘R’ Us, which recently shuttered after their parent company declared bankruptcy, according to a New York Post report.
The new Target store will be Kings County’s sixth, joining two sister locations Downtown, two in Midwood, and one in Bensonhurst. And when it opens, the department store will join other big-box retailers inside the mall, including Kohl’s, Best Buy, and Modell’s, the Post reported.
