Republican presidential hopeful John Kasich is stumping at school for autistic youngsters Shema Kolainu in Borough Park. The Ohio governor is expected to make his case to orthodox Jewish voters that call the area home. His opponent Ted Cruz made a similar visit to a matzoh factory in Brighton Beach last week. Cruz is beating Kasich in national polls, but Kasich leads him in New York ahead of the April 19 primary.
Kasich also made an appearance in Bay Ridge alongside tabloid television host Montel Williams that devolved into an episode of “Jerry Springer.”
