Clean sweep

A bandit looted a sanitation worker’s belongings from his car parked on Bergen Avenue on Jan. 11.

The victim told police that when he left his car between Avenues K and L, and returned around 6 am to find the front window smashed and his cash, wallet, bank cards, license, and Department of Sanitation badge missing from his front center console.

Clothes thieves

Cops cuffed two women for taking clothes from an Avenue U department store on Jan. 7.

Police say the suspects stole the duds from the store near Flatbush Avenue at 7 pm and walked out without paying, before cops arrested them later at 10:30 pm, according to police.

Couple of bandits

Police arrested a man and a woman who they say stole clothes from an Avenue U department store on Jan. 1.

A store security officer saw the suspects take the garments from the store near Flatbush Avenue and leave without paying just after 8:30 pm, according to the authorities.

Police arrested both of them just after 10 pm, according to cops.

Driveway robber

A lout stole a large sum of cash from a car parked on E. 35th Street on Jan. 11.

The victim said that he left his car parked in his driveway between Avenues K and L at about 2:50 am, and when he returned at 9:30 am, he saw that someone had taken $15,000 from the hand rest, according to cops.

He later checked security cameras and saw that the brigand walked up to the car, opened the driver’s-side door, and took the money, police said.

Sneak thief

A baddie stole electronics from an Avenue U store on Jan. 10.

The robber took several cellphones and a tablet, put them in a bag, and fled the department store near Flatbush Avenue at 8:40 pm, according to cops.
