Shot in the leg

A brute shot a woman on Mermaid Avenue on Feb. 26.

The woman was near Stillwell Avenue at 4:18 pm when the lout fired, hitting her in the leg, according to police.

Credit card crime

A nogoodnik wiped out more than $3,000 from a woman’s credit card account at her W. 33rd Street residence, sometime between April 2018 and February 2019.

The woman told police that on April 16, 2018 around noon, the villain opened up email accounts under her name and conducted multiple online transactions without her consent, according to police.

Apartment robbed

Some raider stole more than $3,000 from an E. Oceana Drive apartment on Jan. 15.

The woman told police that the money was missing from her dresser drawer around 11 am, and there was no forced entry to the residence near Seacoast Terrace, police said.

Package pickup

Some bandit stole a package from an 86th Street residence on Feb. 21.

According to police, the louse pried open the glass framed door at the apartment between Avenue V and W. 11th Street around 9 pm with a thin metal object, slipped inside, and snagged the package.

The burglar wore a gray hoodie, black jacket, and blue jeans, according to police.

Car broken into

A goon broke into a car at Surf Avenue on Feb. 27.

The looter smashed the passenger-side window of the vehicle parked near W. Eighth Street and fled with designer sunglasses and an iPad around 10:30 am, police said.

Wallet swiped

A lout lifted a wallet from a woman at a Neptune Avenue drugstore on March 3.

The woman noticed her wallet, credit card, and cash were missing from her pocketbook after she left the Brighton Fifth Street store at 3:20 pm, police said.
