Late-night robbery
A pair of perps threatened an 18th Avenue bodega employee with a gun and stole $400 from the store on Jan. 6, police said.
The incident occurred at the bodega at 66th Street around 10:30 pm, according to the report, which added that one of the men told the employee, “Give me the money or I will shoot you” upon entering the grocery store.
The men fled on 66th Street towards 19th Avenue, police added.
Blinged out
Police arrested a pair of teens who allegedly stole jewelry from a 19th Avenue apartment at some point between Jan. 4 and 8.
The alleged theft occurred at the home between 86th Street and Benson Avenue at some point after 9 pm on Jan. 4, when the homeowner invited the girls in, according to the report. The resident later noticed that her jewelry chest had been broken into and that jewelry was missing, according to the report.
Quiet break-in
A lout broke into an 85th Street apartment and stole jewelry on Jan. 8.
The man told police he left the home between 21st Avenue and Bay Parkway at 9:45 am, and returned at 2:50 pm to find his front door left open, his things scattered around his home, and jewelry missing from his bedroom, according to police, who added that there were no signs of forced entry.
Teen fight
Police arrested a trio of teen girls who they say punched a 15-year-old boy in the face on Cropsey Avenue on Jan. 8 after he refused to give them $5.
Police say the victim was near Bay 14th Street around 6:50 pm when the girls approached him and asked for the cash. When he refused, the girls allegedly pushed and punched him, cutting his nose, according to the report.
Broken windows
A crook broke the window of a man’s car parked on Bath Avenue and stole electronics and credit and debit cards from inside at some point between Jan. 8 and 9.
The incident occurred at the parking spot between Bay 16th and Bay 17th streets at some point after 6:15 pm on Jan. 8, police said.
Looted
A baddie broke the window of a woman’s car parked on New Utrecht Avenue and stole $600 and her cellphone from inside at some point between Jan. 8 and 9.
The incident occurred at the parking spot between 65th and 66th streets at some point after 10 pm on Jan. 8, according to the report.
Window of opportunity
A criminal stole $200, credit and debit cards, and electronics from a man’s unlocked car parked on Cropsey Avenue on Jan. 9.
The theft occurred at the parking spot near Bay 40th Street at around 1 am, police said, adding that the crook also used the man’s credit card after he stole it.
Almost too easy
A thief stole a man’s unlocked white 2012 Nissan Altima from its 63rd Street parking spot on Jan. 10.
The man told police he left his car running with the keys in the ignition and the doors unlocked near 24th Avenue around 6:15 am, while he went inside a nearby home to pick up his children.
Shopping gone wrong
A baddie stole a woman’s purse with $2,000 and her identification cards inside while she was shopping at an 86th Street store on Jan. 10.
The theft occurred at the store at Bay 19th Street just before 1:20 pm, police said, adding that the thief fled in an unknown direction.
Toxic trio
Officers arrested three men who allegedly threatened a man with physical force before demanding he hand over his money and cellphone on 18th Avenue on Jan. 10.
The victim was near 86th Street at around 4:45 pm, when the men confronted him, police said, adding that the suspects did not actually take anything.
No swiping
Cops cuffed a trio who they say threatened to beat up a 13-year-old girl before demanding she hand over her money and cellphone on Avenue O on Jan. 11.
The alleged incident occurred between W. Fourth and W. Fifth streets at around 5:15 pm, police said, adding that the trio did not take anything.
