A train struck and killed a man after he jumped from the 20th Avenue station platform on Monday night.

The 43-year-old Bensonhurst resident, Ralph Greco, leapt in front of the northbound N train as it entered the station near 64th Street at 6:45 pm, according to Detective Hubert Reyes, a Police Department spokesman.

Authorities turned off power to the station’s tracks after the incident. Videos uploaded to the crime-reporting app, Citizen, show first responders searching for the victim between the first and second cars of the train, which had partially pulled into the station.

Police pronounced the man dead at the scene and do not suspect any criminal activity, according to the spokesman.
