A man was stabbed to death in the Red Hook Houses on Sunday, according to cops.

Police responded to a report of an assault in the apartment building on Columbia Street near West 9th Street, where they discovered 48-year-old James Bradley with a stab wound to the chest at around 4 pm.

Bradley, who lived in the Red Hook Houses, was transported to Methodist Hospital where he was pronounced dead. A 47-year-old man was arrested at the scene and charges are pending, according to authorities.

The stabbing is the third suspected homicide in or around the sprawling Red Hook New York City Housing Authority complex since June.

Earlier this month on Dec. 14, a 22-year-old man was shot and killed further down Columbia Street in front of the complex. No arrests have been made in that killing.

On June 1 outside the complex, a 27-year-old man was shot in the head by a 29-year-old male, who was arrested and indicted on murder charges. The victim died nearly a month later, after clinging to life at Methodist.

There have been five recorded murders so far this year within the 76th Precinct, which encompasses Red Hook and Carroll Gardens, compared to none at all in 2019, according to police data
