Intoxicating robbery

Three bruisers robbed an intoxicated man on 48th Street on Oct. 5.

The victim told police that he was walking between Third and Fourth avenues at around 4 am when the savages approached and punched him multiple times in the head, before grabbing $240 cash and a cellphone.

Backpack burglar

A thief stole a backpack from a 24th Street homeless shelter on Sept. 15.

The victim told police he left the bag in the shelter between Third and Fourth avenues at 2 pm, but a bandit stole it by the time he returned at 6 pm.

Restaurant raider

A burglar stole cash from a vacant Seventh Avenue restaurant on Oct. 5.

The owner told police that the raider smashed the glass door of the restaurant between 16th Street and Windsor Place at around 11 pm, and made off with $400 from the cash register.

Brutal beating

Two bruisers robbed a man on Fifth Avenue on Oct. 6.

The victim told police he was walking near 50th Street a 5 am, when the brutes approached and pushed him to the ground and punched him repeatedly, before stealing his wallet and cellphone.

Car keyed

A villian keyed car on Fifth Avenue on Oct. 4.

The victim told police he was arguing with the punk near 40th Street at 9 am, when the wretch keyed the victim’s car, causing $500 in damage.

Employee fraud

A disgruntled employee swindled his Third Avenue workplace on Sept. 5.

The manager of the business near E. 22nd Street told police that he gave the employee a check for $130 on Sept. 3, but the worker cashed a fraudulent version of the check for $1,800 at 2 pm on Sept. 5.

Failed home invasion

A home invader unsuccessfully tried to break into a Terrace Place home on Oct. 6.

The victim told police that the burglar tried to break the lock on the for of the home between 17th and 18th streets at around 4:30 am, when the victim confronted the perp and he ran off.
