Money grab: Cops search for pickpocket in Brighton Beach

Cops are searching for a pickpocket who allegedly stole a 70-year-old woman’s wallet from a Brighton Beach grocery store on March 22.

The goon followed the victim into the store at 1029 Brighton Beach Ave. at approximately 3 p.m. before snatching the wallet from the senior’s purse and fleeing toward Brighton 12th Street. The perp made off with various credit cards and $110 in cash, according to police.

Cops described the baddie as an adult male in his 50s, standing approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall with a light skin complexion. He was last seen wearing a denim jacket, blue jeans, tan boots, and a light blue baseball cap, police said.
