Knife throwing wretch

Police arrested a woman for allegedly throwing a knife at her son on North Portland Avenue on Oct. 2.

The victim told police that the suspect allegedly threw the knife at thim near North Oxford Walk around 10:40 am, cutting him on his hand as he attempted to deflect it.

Cops arrested the woman later that day and slapped her with felony assault charges, according to police reports.

Pizza parlor panic

Police arrested a suspect for allegedly assaulting a man in a Dekalb Avenue pizza place on Oct. 5.

The victim told police the man allegedly punched and choked him inside the eatery near Ashland Place at around 6:30 pm.

Police put the man in cuffs and slapped him with a felony assault charge, according to police reports.

Foster mother malefactor

Cops cuffed three suspects for allegedly robbing a foster mother on Saint Edwards Street on Oct. 2.

The victim told police that the suspects allegedly began kicking and punching the woman, who was with her foster child near Park Avenue at around 8 am, before grabbing her wallet and running off.

Police arrested on scene and arrested two men and a woman in connection with the robbery on felony robbery charges, according to police reports.

Bike bandit

A villain stole a bike on Carlton Avenue on Oct. 1.

The victim told police that he had left his $2,200 Yuba Mundo Bicycle locked to a lamp post near Myrtle Avenue, but the thief stole it by the time he returned at around 7:45 p.m.

Parking Paranoia

A purloiner burglarized a parked car in a Fleet Place parking lot on Oct. 6.

The victim told police that he found the car near Myrtle Avenue around 3:30 pm with an open door, and $1,000 worth of personal items missing.
