An FDNY vehicle collided with a motorcyclist near Bensonhurst on Sunday night, hospitalizing the 36-year-old biker.

The Fire Department van was rushing near 60th Street and 16th Avenue on the border of Borough Park with its emergency warning lights on at 8:45 pm when it smashed into the 2020 Kawasaki motorbike, according to police.

Paramedics rushed the injured man to nearby Maimonides Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to a Police Department spokesman.

The smoke eater’s red van stayed at the scene until police arrived, and the investigation remains ongoing.
