Motorist sideswipes woman’s car in Union Street hit-and-run

A jerk in a Uhaul truck sideswiped a women’s car on Union Street on Oct. 1.

The victim told police that she was parked near Seventh Avenue around 2:35 pm, when the lout hit car and drove off without stopping.

Target theft

Police arrested a man for allegedly attempting to steal from a Flatbush Avenue department store on Oct. 1.

Surveillance video allegedly caught the suspect attempting to make off with $1,346 worth of merchandise from the store near Atlantic Avenue around 4:20 pm, cops said.

The police arrested the man the same day and slapped him with felony grand larceny charges, according to police reports.

Bike theft

A bandit stole a bike near Atlantic Avenue on Oct. 1.

The victim told police that she left her bike near Fort Greene Place, but the thief had rode off by the time she returned at around 7:25 pm.

Baby book

A fiend stole an undelivered package from a Park Place building on Sept. 30.

The victim told police that the package was left outside to their apartment near Vanderbilt Avenue when the thief stole the box and ran off.
