No pane, no gain: Police looking for burglars breaking into Bushwick homes via windows

Police are on the lookout for two burglars who have been sneaking through the windows of Bushwick homes.

Someone spotted the pair climbing through a window of an Eldert Street residence at around 6:30 on April 6, where they swiped property from inside before exiting back through the same portal, police said.

Then on April 11, someone saw one of the two attempting to break into another residential apartment on the street at around 5:25 pm — first from the roof and then through a window, cops said. He failed at both, though, and eventually gave up and left, authorities said.

Police describe both crooks as around 20 years old. One was last seen wearing jeans and a blue hoodie, the other sporting a black jacket and a black baseball cap, police said.

Police ask anyone with information about the incident to call (800) 577–8477, submit tips at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com, or text 274637 followed by TIP577. All calls are strictly confidential.
