Gunfire rang out near the Brooklyn Botanic Garden on Wednesday afternoon, leaving one man seriously injured, police said.
Officers responded to the intersection of Washington Avenue and Montgomery Street just after 1 pm and found the victim lying there, according to a police spokeswoman. First responders transported the 21-year-old to Kings County Hospital Center in serious but stable condition, and police say he is expected to survive.
Cops say they are after one shooter, but did not release any details about the suspect.
