After a tragic Tuesday morning fire left two dead and four injured in East New York, firefighters were again on the scene of a different blaze in nearby Ocean Hill.

The inferno broke out at around 1:40 p.m. at a two-story private residence at 2365 Pacific St., and sent several FDNY members scrambling.

Smoke eaters were met with intense smoke and high heat as they used two hoses to knock down the main body of the fire, and a search of the residence led them to find a semi-conscious man injured in the chaos.

Paramedics rushed him to a local hospital for treatment, and no one else was reported injured in the afternoon fire.

The fire was placed under control at 2:45 p.m., according to the FDNY.

Tuesday afternoon’s blaze came after a different fire at 136 Fountain Ave. that same morning, which killed a mother and her 17-year-old child, while leaving four others injured.

Those two fires on Tuesday also came after a Monday night fire in Midwood, when a the first floor of a commercial building at 2392 Nostrand Ave. went up in flames at around 10 p.m., leading 12 units and 65 firefighters to work deploying  four hose-lines to knock down the heavy fire conditions in the rear of the building. A pair of firefighters suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene by paramedics. The fire was placed under control at 10:55 p.m.
