Package thieves swipe several packages from apartment buildings

Package thieves struck several apartment buildings in separate incidents in the precinct this week. Here’s the rundown:

• Someone stole a Samsung Chrome Book delivered to a woman’s Baltic Street apartment on Oct. 1.

The woman told police that she the gadget was delivered through Fed Ex to her building near Bond Street between 2:45 and 6 pm, but that she never received it.

• A thief took a package from a man’s Amity Street building on Sept. 29.

The robber took the package containing a bathing suit from the vestibule of the building near Henry Street at 2 pm, police said.

• A jerk stole a woman’s parcel from in front of her apartment door at Hoyt Street between July 19 and Sept. 21, according to police.

The victim told cops that the package containing an Amazon Fire Stick remote that was stolen from the address between Baltic and Douglass streets.

Smell ya later

A robber stole 20 deodorants from a pharmacy on Court Street on Oct. 1.

The thief bagged the deodorants from the store between First and Second places at 11:40 am and fled in an unknown direction, according to cops.

Couple bust

Cops cuffed a man and a woman on Columbia Street on Sept. 29 and charged them with criminal possession of a weapon and a controlled substance.

The police said that the 63-year-old man allegedly had brass knuckles, a controlled substance, and a crack pipe with residue on it on him between Lorraine and Verona streets at 9:30 am. He and the 53-year-old woman that was with him were arrested and charged, according to authorities.

Cash grab

Somone swiped cash from a woman’s car on Clinton Street between Sept. 16 and 20.

The victim told police that she left her blue Ford Explorer on Sept. 16 at 8:30 pm and that when she returned on Sept. 20 at 7:40 pm, her car was unlocked and that somebody had removed $100 and her insurance card from the car.
