Police are asking for the public’s help identifying two men wanted for questioning about a Nov. 9 robbery at the New Utrecht Street train station.
The victim existed the Manhattan-bound “D” train at the stop at 62nd Street at around 11 pm, when police say two men followed him from the platform to the mezzanine area.
One of the men then allegedly flashed a knife and demanded his property, while the second man allegedly grabbed the victim. The first allegedly took his cell phone and wallet, containing $4,600 cash, a credit card, and an identification card. The two men then allegedly fled in an unknown direction. The victim was unharmed, according to police, and refused medical attention at the scene.
One of the men is estimated to be in his early 20s with a heavy build, and was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black pants, a black baseball cap, and black sneakers. The other is also described as being in his early 20s but with a slim build, and was last seen wearing a black jacket, grey hooded sweatshirt, grey pants, and grey sneakers.
