It was a wild time!
Brooklynites of all ages had a blast at Brooklyn Bridge Park’s Dumbo Family Festival on April 23, monkeying around on the Dumbo green space’s new rock-climbing wall, watching a doggie obstacle course competition, and getting up close an personal with a menagerie of wildlife including possums, owls, and turtles.
“It was a great experience,” said Meghna Patel of Park Slope, who also brought along friends visiting from India to check out the festivities.
Patel’s daughter Sahana got a sparkling glitter “tattoo” and climbed the new bouldering wall, while other attendees grooved to the kid-friendly sounds of local performers Mil’s Trills and Moona Lunam, played games on the lawn, and planted flowers on a 20-foot long replica of the Brooklyn Bridge.
