A man suffered minor injuries after a Metropolitan Transportation Authority bus driver hit him while he was crossing the street in Sheepshead Bay on Jan. 15, police said.

Authorities say the driver of a B82 had the right-of-way while making a turn at the intersection of Kings Highway and E. 18th Street at 2:51 pm. A spokeswoman for the NYPD said the man was walking in the crosswalk but against the signal when the bus driver struck him.

The man was reportedly dragged a short distance along Kings Highway and was pinned beneath the bus.

Police say the victim was taken to Kings County Hospital with minor injuries.

The Highway Patrol Collision Investigation Squad is investigating the incident.
