The fans should come just for the giveaways at this point.

The Cyclones bats mustered just four hits and were shut out by Ironbirds’ pitchers Michael Baumann and Nick Vespi as the Clones lost for sixth time in a row.

The Ironbirds got on the board early. Trevor Craport led off the first with a double before Ben Breazele singled to advance Craport to third. Garrett Copeland then hit a sacrifice fly to score Craport.

It stayed that way until the fifth, when Luke Ringhofer doubled to right then advanced to third on a throwing error made by right fielder Jose Miguel Medina. Jaylen Ferguson then hit a single to score Ringhofer.

The runs kept on coming for the Ironbirds in the sixth. With the bases loaded and no outs, Copeland grounded into a double play to score Mason McCoy and advance Craport to third. Ringhofer then singled to score Craport.

The Ironbirds sealed the victory in the seventh. Kevin Moesquit was hit by a pitch, stole second, then advanced to third off a throwing error by catcher Carlos Sanchez. T.J. Nichting then hit a sacrifice fly to score Moesquit.

The loss puts the Cyclones at 15–39, last in the McNamara Division and fourtenn-and-a-half games in back of the not nearly as bad Hudson Valley Renegades.

The Cyclones hope they can get that long-coveted sixteenth win tonight at 6:40 pm.
