A thief stole a man’s phone off him at an Avenue U department store on June 15.

The victim told police he felt jostled standing in line to check out at the store near Flatbush Avenue at 7 p.m., only to discover later that his phone was stolen, cops said.

A location app traced the phone to Long Island City, Queens, cops said.

Shopping spree

Cops arrested a man who allegedly tried to steal merchandise from a department store on Avenue U on June 21.

An employee told police the suspect grabbed $1,297 worth of stuff around 6:30 p.m., before attempting to flee the store near East 29 Street and Nostrand Avenue.

Bad credit

A thief looted a man’s car on New York Avenue on June 22, taking credit cards.

The crook broke through a passenger-side window and took the victims cards from the middle counsel at around 2:30 p.m., before fleeing the scene on foot, according to authorities.

The fiend later made purchases at Best Buy, Foot Locker and Apple using the victim’s cards, cops said.

Tool time

Two crooks ransacked a man’s car on East 34 Street on June 17, nabbing $4,000 worth of tools.

The thieves entered the vehicle parked near Avenue R through the trunk at sometime after 3:35 p.m., said the cops.
