Playground pilferers
Two bandits filched a man at a Tillary Street playground on Oct. 7.
The victim told police that the villains approached at the park near Jay Street at 2:50 pm and grabbed his watch, money, and Apple AirPod before running off toward Cathedral Place.
Craigslist heist
Police arrested two men for allegedly stealing phones from a man on Montague Street on Oct. 12.
The victim told police that he met with the suspects near Hicks Street to sell four phones he advertised on Craigslist around 4 pm, when they allegedly tried to give him counterfeit money. When the victim resisted, one of the men allegedly punched him in the face and drove off the phones.
Police later found the suspects in Manhattan and slapped them both with felony robbery charges, according to the authorities.
Out of order!
Police arrested a man suspected of attacking a court officer on Schermerhorn Street on Oct. 10.
The officer told police that he was escorting the suspect to a holding cell near Smith Street at around 8 am, when the man allegedly began flailing his arms and choking the officer.
Cops grabbed the suspect and slapped him with felony assault charges, according to police reports.
Stolen art
Movers stole a $7,000 work of art from a woman at Pierrepont Street on Sept. 12.
The victim told cops she hired movers to transport her stuff from Manhattan to her new apartment between Cadman Plaza W. and Clinton Street, when one of the movers stole the unique piece by artist Radamés Juni Figueroa between 11 am and noon.
The woman reached out to her movers but never got a response, according to police.
E-bike swipe
A thief stole a deliveryman’s e-bike on Lawrence Street on Oct. 9.
The victim told police he was picking up food between Fulton and Willoughby streets at 8:40 pm when the pilfered stole the bike.
Rug rat!
A looter took diapers and other toddler-paraphernalia from a Joralemon Street apartment on Oct. 8.
The victim told police that the lout entered the building on Clinton Street at 2:40 am and ripped open a package of diapers, toddler underwear, a bottle and food.
