Police are on the hunt for a man who allegedly slashed a young woman in the face multiple times outside a McDonald’s on Mermaid Avenue on Feb. 9.

Police said the man cut up the 18-year-old’s face at around 5:05 pm outside the McDonald’s on the corner of Stillwell Avenue after an argument.

“The individual slashed the 18-year-old female victim in the face numerous times with an unknown sharp object following a dispute inside of the restaurant,” police said.

The man fled on foot on Mermaid Avenue towards Stillwell Avenue after the assault. The woman went to NYU Langone Medical Center and received 93 stitches to treat the many cuts on her face, according to police.

Police said the man is in his thirties and is six-feet tall. He was last seen wearing a green parka with a fur-lined hood, blue jeans and black sneakers.
