Police looking for man accused of lewd behavior on Q train

Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man who allegedly masturbated in front of a woman on an early morning Q train on March 13.

Police said the man sat across from the victim and pleasured himself at 7 am on the Sheepshead Bay-bound train. The victim took a picture of him on her phone, and then ran out of the train when it reached the Sheepshead Bay station. The man stayed onboard.

The man is described as being in his twenties and has short braids in his hair. He was last seen wearing a red jacket and blue jeans, according to police.
