Police: Man creeps onto boat and steals booze

Cops arrested a man for allegedly sneaking onto a boat docked on Emmons Avenue on April 26 and stealing several bottles of liquor.

The suspect boarded the boat at the dock near E. 21st shortly after 9 p.m., before breaking a window to enter the cabin, police reported. He then went behind the bar and stole $200 worth of alcohol, cops said.

Police tracked down and arrested the 44-year-old perp near Ocean Avenue and Shore Parkway later that night, according to authorities.

Purse snatching

Three bandits robbed a woman on E. 17th Street on April 23.

The perps approached the victim between Quentin Road and Avenue R at 10 p.m. and demanded she hand over her purse, police said. The woman handed over the bag, containing a cellphone and a wallet, before the perps fled toward Coney Island Avenue, according to the report.

Wallet thieves

Four crooks robbed a man on Avenue T on April 23.

The victim was near E. Fifth Street at 11 pm when the four men approached him, according to officers. One of the baddies grabbed the victim and held him down, while two others searched the man’s pockets, stealing his wallet, police said. The four thieves then fled toward E. Fourth Street, cops said.
