Police: Man punches another guy in correctional facility

Cops cuffed a guy for socking a man in the face inside a Schermerhorn Street correctional facility on Feb. 17, police said.

The victim told police the suspect punched him in his jaw inside the facility near Smith Street at about 10:30 am. Paramedics took the victim to Maimonides Hospital, according to authorities.

What sneaks!

A pair of crooks stole a bunch of sneakers from an Atlantic Avenue store on Feb. 11, police said.

The two baddies swiped shoes from the store near Boerum Place at about 10:15 am, and when an officer tried to stop them, one of the malefactors shoved his face to the wall, according to authorities. The curs fled on Atlantic Avenue, police said.

Lost and found

Police arrested a guy for swiping a man’s electronics and other personal stuff from his Washington Street apartment on Feb. 14.

The suspect broke into the apartment, damaging the front door, near Water Street at about 1:15 pm and ran out with the victim’s laptop, watch, credit card, lock box, and savings bonds, cops said. The laptop had a tracking device in it, according to authorities.

Hot wheels

Some crook stole a guy’s bike on Joralemon Street on Feb. 14, police said.

The victim told police he left his red and black electric bike unlocked near Court Street at about noon to make a delivery and when he returned a few minutes later, the expensive electric two-wheeler — along with the battery, lock, and gloves — were gone, according to authorities.
