Police officers collided with an Uber car and then struck a fence in Marine Park on June 25, officials said.

The patrol vehicle was traveling up E. 38th Street from Avenue S toward Fillmore Avenue when the law-enforcers hit the for-hire driver in the intersection around 3 pm, officials said. The police car then rammed into a fence on the corner of Fillmore Avenue and E. 38th Street, according to authorities.

The Uber driver refused medical attention, but an emergency responders transported two police officers to Kings County Hospital with minor injuries, officials said.

The intersection has a stop sign on E. 38th Street but not Fillmore Avneue. Officials would not say whether police obeyed the posting.
