The police are asking for the public’s help finding a man who allegedly touched a woman inappropriately on a bus in Sunset Park heading towards Bay Ridge on May 17.

The man allegedly sat down next to the woman on the B63 bus at 50th Street and Fifth Avenue around 11:20 am and put his hand on her leg. The woman moved the man’s hand, but a little while later the man allegedly put his hand on her leg again. The woman then told the man to stop, police said, adding that she then moved to another seat.

Police describe the man as around 40 years old, about 5-foot-3, and 160 pounds, with brown eyes and a short dark hair. He was last seen wearing a grey jacket and a grey baseball cap with the word “Phoenix” on the front, according to police.
