Piggy bank crime

Cops cuffed a woman who they say hit a man with a piggy bank at a Schermerhorn Street apartment on April 2, police said.

The victim sustained a cut to his face and a swollen eye after the woman allegedly hit him with the piggy bank in the apartment between Smith and Hoyt streets at 8:17 p.m., according to police.

Bike bandits

A couple of bad guys nabbed a Citi Bike from a man on Court Street on April 3.

According to police, one punk told the victim, “I’m gonna shoot you,” and he simulated a firearm in his pocket just before 9 p.m. near Schermerhorn Street.

The toughs hit the man in the face before hijacking the bike from the victim, police said.

Midday mugging

Two marauders mugged a man at Montague Street on April 6.

The thieves punched the victim in the face and ran off with his debit cards, subway pass and driver’s license between Montague Terrace and Hicks Street at 12:45 p.m., police said.

Fake out

A crook punched and robbed a woman on Nevins Street on April 6.

According to police, the victim agreed to meet the thief near Wyckoff Street at 10:40 p.m. to purchase a cellphone from him.

Before the victim could complete the transaction, the tough punched the woman and ran off with her cellphone and cash, police said.

Won’t go easily

Police arrested a man who they say hit an officer after refusing to leave a Fulton Street store on April 1.

The man allegedly refused to leave the shop near Hoyt Street after he was told multiple times to leave at 4:40 p.m., police said.

According to police, the man hit an officer in the knee after cops arrived to arrest him.

Store fight

Cops cuffed a woman for allegedly hitting a person at an Atlantic Avenue department store on April 4.

The woman allegedly hit the victim in the face in the store near Boerum Place at 9:20 a.m., police said.

Spending spree

Some lout syphoned more than $2,000 from a woman’s bank account at a MetroTech bank on March 20 .

The crook started using the victim’s debit card at the bank between Myrtle Avenue and Gold Street sometime between 1:30 and 11 p.m., police said.

According to police, the woman had ordered a new debit card to her Beverly Road apartment and it never arrived. The victim reported the crime on April 1, police said.

Subway rat

A scoundrel swiped a woman’s bag at the Schermerhorn Street subway on March 21.

According to police, the woman realized her bag was not on the seat as the subway doors closed and left the station near Hoyt Street on March 21 at 8 p.m. She reported the theft on April 2, according to authorities

Phone grab

Four bandits stole a woman’s phone at MetroTech Center on April 2.

The group of goons asked the victim for help just before 10 p.m., and when she got off the phone, they snatched it from her hand and ran into the subway station near Jay Street, police said.

Two phones stolen

A jerk stole a man’s phones and wallet at a Willoughby Street shop on April 2 .

According to police, the man left behind his two cellphones — one of which doubled as a wallet — at the store near Pearl Street, and when he came back at 4:30 p.m., they were gone.

The thief was caught on surveillance walking out of the business with the victim’s belongings, police said.

Smooth criminal

Cops cuffed a man who they say stole a man’s phone on Flatbush Avenue on April 3.

The suspect allegedly took the victim’s cellphone from his jeans near State Street at 12:51 p.m., police said.

According to police, when an officer tried to arrest the man, he refused to put his hands behind his back and allegedly ran away.

Backpack bandit

A purloiner stole a woman’s backpack at an Atlantic Avenue store on April 4.

The wretch seized the victim’s bag — containing her credit cards and personal identification — while she turned around to pack up her purchases at the shop near Boerum Place at 10 p.m., police said.
