Prospect Heights bank held up for $3,000

A thief made off with $3,000 after holding up a bank on Flatbush Avenue in Prospect Heights, police say. 

Cops say the masked bandit entered the bank near Plaza Street at 5:40 pm on July 21 where he told an employee he had a gun and demanded money.

The employee complied, and the thief fled down Flatbush Avenue towards Prospect Park with $3,000. 

No one was injured and no arrests have been made, according to police.
