The kids know the reason for the season!
First graders from PS 222 expressed their festive feelings by performing songs and dances for locals at the school’s holiday show in Marine Park on Dec. 22.

The youngsters donned holiday headgear for the performance — reindeer antlers, elf hats, and colorful caps adorned with snowflakes — and seasonal shirts, which included cutouts of blue and white dreidels.
The show also featured a special seasonal star — Santa Claus, who came all the way from the North Pole to see the youngsters perform. Senior citizens from the Sunrise Assisted Living Facility in Sheepshead Bay were also scheduled to appear but because their bus broke down on the way there, the seniors were only able to attend in spirit.
