Ooh la la!

Hundreds of Brooklynites flocked to Smith Street in Cobble Hill on Sunday to celebrate Bastille Day — including one woman who came in a tres chic, home-made outfit sporting the colors of the French flag. The lady said she doesn’t have any Gallic blood — she just really likes dressing up for the occasion.

“I always have people who want to get pictures with me in the outfit. They say ‘You’re French? ‘No, I just wanted to get dressed up,’” said Ditmas Park resident Mary Alice Ladd, who has been attending the street fair for nine years and creates a different outfit in the same colors each time.

The annual Francophilic festival is an annual tradition on the strip sometimes known as Brooklyn’s Little Paris for its proliferation of French expats and eateries, and includes a giant petanque tournament — like bocce, but French — in the middle of the street.

Ladd said she didn’t partake in the game, but enjoyed some moules-frites at nearby Bar Tabac, before heading to another Bastille Day event in Manhattan.

“I was doing the Bastille Day circuit,” she said.
