A brute hit a man in the head with an unknown metal object, causing a laceration and bleeding, and then stole $100 from his pocket on May 9.
The incident occurred at the station at 86th Street at around 3:10 a.m., according to the report, which added that the lout fled down 86th Street and that emergency medical personnel transported the victim to Coney Island Hospital.
Cash grab
A punk stole $4,000 from a man’s jacket in his 18th Avenue bedroom at some point between May 5 and 10.
The man, who lives between 70th and 71st streets, realized the money was missing at around 9 p.m. on May 10, according to the report, which added that there were no signs of forced entry.
Free ride
A thief stole a gray 2015 Nissan Sentra parked on W. Fifth Street at some point between May 6 and 10, police said.
The theft occurred from the parking spot between 65th Street and Avenue O at some point after 11:15 a.m. on May 6, according to authorities.
Pocket swipe
A crook stole a woman’s keys and wallet, with $100 inside, from her jacket pocket at an Avenue T school on May 6, and charged more than $200 to her credit and debit cards.
The incident occurred at the school between Lake and Van Sicklen streets at some point after 8:30 a.m., police said, adding that the woman realized the money and goods were missing at the end of the school day.
Biked into the night
A thief stole a man’s bicycle from 86th Street on May 6.
The theft occurred between 14th Avenue and Bay Seventh Street at around 11:30 p.m., when the man went into the bodega at the site, cops reported.
Chain gang
A pair of crooks stole a man’s necklace on 76th Street on May 7.
The theft occurred between 19th and 20th avenues at around 4 p.m., when the dastardly duo got out of a car, and the man hugged the victim while the woman removed his necklace, according to the report.
Electric steal
A burglar stole an unspecified amount of electronics from the employee lounge of a 63rd Street school on May 9.
The theft occurred at the school between 15th and 16th avenues at some point before 6:20 a.m., when a teacher unlocked the door to the room, police said.
Phone a friend
A nogoodnik stole a man’s phone after he left it on the counter of a Kings Highway store on May 9.
The theft occurred at the store between W. Sixth and W. Seventh streets at some point after 4:40 p.m., police said.
Cane-do attitude
Police arrested a man who allegedly tried to hit another man with a cane multiple times on his head and neck, causing pain and redness, on Cropsey Avenue on May 9.
The alleged incident occurred at Bay Parkway at around 10:20 p.m., police said.
Break-in
A crook broke into a Bay 40th Street home on May 10 and stole $3,000 and pharmaceuticals, police said.
The incident occurred at the home between Benson and Bath avenues at around 10:20 p.m., according to the report, which added that the perp entered the home through the front door.
Alarm-free steal
A pair of punks stole a pair of leather jackets from an 86th Street store on May 11.
The theft occurred at the store at 21st Avenue just before 5:40 p.m., police said, adding that the perps removed alarm tags from both jackets.
