A United States Postal Service worker was attacked by a trio of violent dirt bikers in Greenpoint on Monday, according to the NYPD. 

Police say the mail carrier was walking down McGuiness Boulevard near Nassau Avenue at 6 pm on June 28 when the bikers rode up behind him on the sidewalk and began to beat him, breaking bones in his face, according to police. 

Surveillance video shows the mail carrier fight back as the dirt bikers team up on him, before police say they fled south on McGuiness Boulevard on their bikes. 

The victim was taken to Woodhull Hospital in stable condition.
