Police are looking for the burglar who broke into a woman’s Brooklyn Heights apartment, before sexually assaulting the sleeping victim and looting the residence.

According to police, the 43-year-old woman was sleeping inside her apartment on May 12 at around 2 a.m., when the burglar entered the home near Middagh and Henry streets.

Once inside, the suspect made his way to the woman’s bed and sexually assaulted her.

The victim eventually awoke in horror and began attempting to fight off the intruder, who then grabbed her wallet and ran out, police said.

Police arrived on the scene soon after, but couldn’t locate the creep. The victim refused medical attention from paramedics, cops said.

No arrests have yet been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
