Shocking footage shows attempted rape in Windsor Terrace

Police have released shocking footage of what they say is a predator attempting to rape a woman right outside of Prospect Park in Windsor Terrace on Sunday.

The 34-year-old victim was 16th Street between 11th Avenue and Prospect Park Southwest at around 3:50 am when the guy attacked her from behind, lifting her dress and trying to pull her underwear down, and eventually knocking her to the ground, police said.

The creep then punched her multiple times and kicked as she fought back, and he eventually gave up ran off, authorities said.

Cops describe the suspect as approximately 20–30 years old, 5-foot-11, and 180 pounds, with curly black hair. He was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt and slacks, police said.

This guy is at least the third sicko who has tried to rape a woman in or near Prospect Park recent months, including one who attacked a jogger in April and one who assaulted a woman on Second Street between Seventh and Eighth avenue in May.
