Straphanger sneak
A baddie stole a woman’s card holder while on a train near Fulton Street on Dec. 10, police said.
The victim told cops she had gotten on a Manhattan-bound 2 train at Atlantic Avenue at about 8:15 am and felt some sneak pulling her backpack over her shoulder, and when she hopped off the train near Nevins Street at about 8:20 am she realized her card holder containing her credit card and MetroCard was gone, according to authorities.
Weapon the loose
A cur grabbed a saw and ran down Sands Street on Dec. 10, police said.
The bandit picked up the Stihl orange saw laying on the sidewalk near Gold Street at about 2:15 pm and ran off, according to authorities.
Taking out the trash
A goon punched a guy in the face and stole his phone on Livingston Street on Dec. 10, police said.
The victim told cops he was taking out the trash outside of an apartment building between Smith and Hoyt streets at about 5:15 am when the villain attacked him from behind, punched him, and demanded cash.
The jerk fled down Hoyt Street with the victim’s iPhone, according to authorities.
No mercy
A ruffian stole a handicapped woman’s phone inside an elevator in a Pacific Street subway station on Dec. 12, police said.
The victim, who is in a wheelchair, told cops she had gotten into an argument with the bruiser about him not paying his fare inside the station near Fourth Avenue a little before 1 am when he followed her into an elevator and covered her mouth with his hand, cops said.
The villain then grabbed the victim’s cellphone and ran out of the elevator, according to authorities.
Five dollar discount
Five nogoodniks stole sandwiches from a Johnson Street deli on Dec. 13, police said.
The quintuplet ordered the sandwiches from the bodega near Prince Street and tried to leave without paying $12 for them, cops said. But when an employee tried to stop the crooks from leaving at about 6 am, one of them socked him in the face and then ran off with the sandwiches, according to authorities.
