Sunset slasher: Cops hunting knife-wielding man who slashed man in Sunset Park

Cops are hunting the knife-wielding wacko who slashed a man twice on Sunset Park’s Third Avenue Wednesday.

The victim told police he was arguing with the suspect outside a Third Avenue watering hole between 50th and 51st streets April 24 at 4:20 a.m., when the fiend pulled a knife and slashed him twice in the back.

The crook took off following the attack, while paramedics rushed the victim to a nearby hospital for treatment, cops said.

Investigators have released surveillance footage of a man wanted for question in connection to the assault, who is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall and in his early 20s.
