Everybody’s favorite Middle Eastern eatery just got better, and by better, we mean bigger.

Last month, Bay Ridge Middle Eastern standby Tanoreen moved down the block for an upgrade — a swankier dining area, plus nearly triple the seating. That means no more 90-minute waits for the best baked eggplant this side of the Atlantic.

“We had grown out of our old space,” said general manager and co-owner Jumana Bishara. “We’re really excited about the opportunity to serve more people. It’s just a bigger, better space.”

Fans of Chef Raiwa Bishara’s impeccable culinary prowess should worry not — the move meant no changes to the extensive, perfectly spiced menu she’s been dishing up since 1998.

The new space also features a separate takeout area, lunch specials, and, most importantly, a full bar and wine list (though we will miss the BYOB days). The mother-daughter team warns that despite the 50 extra seats, there is often still a weekend wait, so reservations are recommended.
