Eye for a car

A trio of louts stole a man’s car from Bay Ridge Parkway after spraying an unknown substance in his eye on June 5.

The victim told police he pulled over and hopped out of the car with the ignition running to take a phone call and smoke a cigarette between 21st Avenue and Bay Parkway at around 1 pm. The lowlifes then approached him, wearing surgical masks, and told him not to move — speaking in Cantonese, he told officers — before spraying him with the unknown substance, jumping in the car, and fleeing in an unknown direction, police reported.

Stole then studied

A scholarly sneak stole more than $8,400 from the bank account of an 83rd Street resident and made an electronic payment to a Manhattan college on June 4.

The victim lives between 23rd and 24th avenues, and the money laundering occurred around 8 pm, according to the report.

Call of criminal duty

A baddie stole a woman’s phone on 16th Avenue on June 5.

The theft occurred at 78th Street around 9:30 am, and the man fled on foot on 77th Street towards New Utrecht Avenue, police said.

Unwelcome visitor

A sneak broke into a Bay Parkway apartment on June 5, stole a black motorcycle vest, and damaged furniture.

The break-in and theft occurred at the apartment between Benson and Bath avenues around 11 am, cops said. There were no signs of forced entry, police said, adding that the woman told police she always left the window open.

Registered on camera

A thief stole $140 from the register at a 20th Avenue store early in the morning on June 6.

The woman told cops she locked up the store near 70th Street at 11 pm on June 5 and returned at 7 am the next day and found that the cash was missing. Police say security footage caught the perp making the steal at around 1:50 am on June 6, and then fleeing on foot in an unknown direction, police added.

Lunged but couldn’t stab

Police arrested a pair of men who they say tried to stab a man by lunging at him with knives on W. Second Place on June 6.

Cops say the incident occurred at Avenue P just after 9 pm. The man told them he was able to get away and call police, and officers stopped the men later that day based on the description of them. One of the men had a machete and two knives on him when police found him, and both resisted arrest, according to the report.

Stole, hit, and ran

A thief stole an unlocked 2015 gray Toyota with the keys inside from its 19th Avenue parking spot on June 7 — and then got in a car accident nearby just a few hours later.

The theft occurred between Bay Ridge Parkway and 76th Street after the man parked it there around 2 am. When he returned around 11 am, the car was gone, police said, adding that the robber got in a car accident with it at around 4 am, on 19th Avenue between 73rd and 74th streets, where he fled the scene.

Hit the criminal jackpot

A crook broke into a car parked on 79th Street on June 7 and stole a woman’s purse with a driver’s license and $80 inside.

The car was parked between 21st Avenue and Bay Parkway, and the theft occurred just after 6 pm, cops said.

Steals on no wheels

A good-for-nothing removed the tires and rims from a car parked on Cropsey Avenue on June 7.

Police say the car was parked between Bay 31st and Bay 32nd streets, and the theft occurred at around 7 pm.

Run for money

A scoundrel stole a man’s phone off a treadmill at an 86th Street gym on June 8.

The man told police he was on the treadmill at the fitness center at 20th Avenue around 1:40 pm, when he got off the exercise equipment and walked away, forgetting his phone. When he returned, the phone was gone, according to the report.

Chest bump

A pack of no-goodniks stabbed a man multiple times in his chest with an unknown object on W. Fifth Street on June 8, causing lacerations and bleeding.

The assault occurred between Avenues O and P at around 8:20 pm, and the perps fled on foot on W. Fifth Street towards Avenue P, cops reported. Emergency medical personnel transported the man to Maimonides Hospital for treatment, according to authorities.

Bag of tricks

A thief stole a woman’s purse — with her credit and debit cards inside — from her shopping cart while she was in a Bay Parkway store on June 9.

The theft occurred around noon at the store near Shore Parkway, officers reported.

Child’s play

A weasel stole $140 and a cellphone from the stroller a woman was pushing in an 86th Street store on June 10.

The theft occurred in the store at Bay 19th Street around 12:10 pm, police said.
