Thief lifts woman’s debit card from bank cash machine

Grabbed it and ran

A thief stole a woman’s debit card from a Kings Highway cash machine on March 17.

The theft occurred at the machine inside a bodega near W. Fifth Street at around 7:25 pm, police said, adding that the woman was using the machine to withdraw money.

What a tool

A burglar stole a man’s work tools and wallet from his unlocked truck parked in his Benson Avenue driveway at some point between March 11 and 12.

The theft occurred at driveway near 26th Avenue at some point after 11:30 am on March 11, according to the report, which added that cameras captured the punk entering the truck. The thief then then swindled the victim out of more than $150 by using his credit card to buy MetroCards, cops said.

Dastardly duo

A pair of punks stole a man’s phone and wallet and made more than $400 worth of purchases with his debit card at a Shore Parkway store on March 12.

The perps made the fraudulent charges at the store between 24th Avenue and Bay 37th Street at around 1:25 pm, according to the report, which added that cameras at the store captured the sneaks using the plastic.

Blinged out

A lout stole jewelry from an 84th Street home on March 14.

The theft occurred at the home between 20th and 21st avenues at some point after 10:30 am, according to the report, which added that the perp entered the residence through a bathroom window.

Cash grab

Police arrested a man who allegedly broke a cash register and stole $555 at an 18th Avenue business on March 14.

The man entered the business between E. Seventh and E. Eighth streets at around 4:40 pm and asked a woman inside for money, according to authorities. When she refused, the man threw the register to the ground, grabbed the cash inside, and fled on foot, police said.

Late-night steal

Police arrested a man who they say stole $2,000 from a W. First Street apartment on March 15.

Cops said the the man allegedly entered the home between Kings Highway and Quentin Road at around midnight and demanded money from the homeowner before pushing him to the ground and grabbing the cash from his front pocket.

Plastic steal

A lout stole a woman’s credit cards from inside her car, which she had parked on 70th Street, at some point between March 15 and 16.

The theft occurred at the parking spot between New Utrecht and 15th avenues at some point after 10:30 pm on March 15, according to the report, which added that the baddie tried to use one of the cards at a convenience store on New Utrecht Avenue and 65th Street shortly after making the steal.
