A pillager snagged a man’s Samsung Galaxy S8 from his pocket on Mermaid Avenue on Oct. 26.
Victim told police that the thief punched him in the left eye near W. 16th Street shortly after 10 pm before stealing his cellphone and fleeing in an unknown direction.
Boss bandit
A prowler stole a Hugo Boss jacket from a Brighton 3rd Street storefront on Oct. 22.
An employee told police that the looter entered the rear of the store near Brighton Beach Avenue at around 7 pm before grabbing the jacket and fleeing.
Bat crazy
A savage whacked a man on the head with a baseball bat on Brighton 4th Street on Oct. 26.
The victim told police that the bruiser hit him with the bat near Brighton Beach and Ocean View avenues at around 11:15 pm.
First responders rushed to Lutheran Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
