A robber swiped hundreds of dollars from a Sunset Park bank on Fifth Avenue on July 1, according to authorities.

Cops say the thief waltzed into the bank between 52nd and 53rd streets at 2:55 p.m., and showed a bank teller a note demanding cash. The teller put about $500 in a bag and gave it to the thief, who promptly hightailed it, according to authorities.

Police describe the robber as a man between 25 and 35 years old. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans, authorities say.

Anyone with information in regard to the identity of this male is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
