Vehicle thief

A baddie burglarized a car that was parked on E. 68th Street sometime between April 29 and 30.

The perp took several electronic devices from the unlocked car parked between Avenues L and M, at some point between 10 p.m. April 29 and 2:30 p.m. the following day, cops said.

Laundered

A purse snatcher stole a woman’s wallet from a Glenwood Road laundromat on May 6.

The woman was doing laundry in the business near E. 56th Street at around 4:10 p.m. when she left the wallet in a pocket of her child’s stroller and the thief grabbed it and fled, according to police.

Wallet woes

A sneak thief stole a wallet from an unlocked car on E. 41st Street on May 5.

The baddie snuck into the car, which was parked between Kings Highway and Flatlands Avenue, sometime between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., and stole the wallet from the glove compartment, cops said.

Bank fraud

A scammer used an E. 64th Street woman’s stolen credit card to make $1,188 worth of charges between April 14 and April 18.

The woman, who lives between Strickland Avenue and Mayfair Drive North, discovered she was missing the card when her bank texted her at 6 p.m. on April 18. The perp had used the card at various locations around the city, according to cops.

Checked out

A fraud stole a blank check and cashed it at a Flatbush Avenue store on May 3.

The perp stole the check from the victim’s place of business, and falsely made the check out to an unknown bank account for $3,500. The baddie then cashed the fake check at a check cashing establishment between E. 36th and E. 37th streets, according to police.

Shady

A thief stole several pairs of sunglasses from an Avenue U department store on May 10.

The perp is seen on video grabbing the sunglasses at around 8:15 p.m., before fleeing the store, between Flatbush Avenue and E. 55th Street, without paying, cops said.
