Gone in the night

A crook stole a black 2013 Toyota Rav4 parked on Bath Avenue on June 13, a woman told police on June 18.

The car was parked at Bay 29th Street, and the theft occurred at some point before 10 pm, according to the report.

Cashed out at the cash machine

A swindler deposited a forged check into a Benson Avenue resident’s bank account and made numerous withdrawals worth about $6,000 on June 21, the woman told police.

The woman, who lives at Bay 11th Street, reported the theft to police at around noon on June 23, and told officers she had her debit card with her the whole time.

Stole sweet wheels

A thief stole a white 2012 Cadillac from its 84th Street parking spot on June 15, the owner told police on June 18.

The theft occurred between 16th and 17th avenues at some point before 1 pm.

Luxury theft

A sneak stole a black 2017 Lexus from its McDonald Avenue parking spot on June 18.

The theft of the car occurred between Avenues O and P at some point before 11 am, police said.

Missed window of opportunity

An aspiring thief opened the window of a 15th Avenue apartment on June 23 and fled when the homeowner caught him, police said.

The would-be robber tried to enter the apartment at Independence Avenue around 10 pm, according to the report.

Took the wallet

A pilferer stole a man’s wallet and debit card from a car parked on W. Fourth Street on June 20.

The theft occurred between Highlawn Avenue and Avenue S around 3 am, police said.

Early morning steal

A nogoodnik stole a wallet, credit card, electronics, and registration from a car parked on 23rd Avenue on June 20.

The car was parked between Benson and Bath avenues, and the theft occurred at around 1 am, according to the report.

Almost too easy

A baddie stole a man’s wallet with his credit cards and $190 inside from his unlocked car, parked on W. Eighth Street, on June 23.

The car was parked between Bay Parkway and Avenue O, and the sneak made the steal just after 11:30 am, according to the report.
