Thief who made off with $1,200 in Sunset Park burglary remains on the lam

Cops are hunting the goon who made off with more than $1,000 in a Sunset Park burglary on Monday.

The thief broke down the front door and entered a residential apartment at 50th Street and Seventh Avenue around 11 a.m. on July 29. Once inside, he collected $1,200 and fled the apartment, according to authorities.

Police say the suspect is in his mid-40s, stands at approximately 5 feet, 8 inches tall, and weighs 200 pounds.
